What is the Excellence in Education Annual Fund?

The Annual Fund is designed to bridge the gap between tuition and what it actually costs to educate a child at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic School. Every gift greatly contributes to the high quality education St. Charles Borromeo Catholic School is able to provide its students.

Where does the money go?

Your gift goes directly to the school's operating budget which supports every aspect of the school, including classroom resources, faculty development, facilities investments, tuition assistance, and extracurricular programs and activities.

Who benefits?

As a Catholic community we are called to provide for those who need our help. For the 2021-22 school year, we provided $127,000 in scholarships to 70 students who would otherwise not be able to attend our school. We all benefit through their involvement in our school community.

How do I donate?

You will receive a pledge card in September with a letter requesting your participation. Your contribution can be made at any time. We gladly accept cash, checks, credit cards, stock transfers, and company-matched gifts. If you choose a one-time gift or an installment plan, you will receive a confirmation letter acknowledging your gift or pledge.

Increase the Value of Your Gift

Many corporations and businesses have a Matching Gift Program, which will match the contributions of their employees to educational institutions. For example, if you work for a company with such a program, your $250 contribution would be matched by another $250 from the company. Please inquire at your company’s Human Resources Department regarding your donation.

Every donation matters! 

Every donation is important. Many small donations become a large donation. You might also consider a monthly donation over the next 8 months; a donation of $37.50 a month becomes $300 after 8 months. All donations, whether large or small, are needed and welcomed.
