In Education Since: I have been teaching primary aged children in Catholic schools for the past twenty years. I taught kindergarten for three years and second grade for seventeen years.
At. St. Charles Since: This will be my first year at St. Charles Borromeo.
Why St. Charles: I am excited to be part of the SCB community! I enjoy working with children and watching them grow, both academically and spiritually. I am blessed to have the opportunity to partner with amazing parents and teachers in helping children grow in values, virtues, and develop an appreciation for other’s uniqueness. It brightens my day to hear how children experience Christ in their lives and be able to share those little gifts we receive from God each day. Teaching in Catholic schools affords me the opportunity to live and share that faith. Plus, everyone has been so warm and welcoming, I truly am delighted to be joining such a wonderful and welcoming community.
Outside the Classroom: My husband and I have five adult children and five grandchildren. We are fortunate to have most of them live in close proximity. Needless to say, I love spending as much free time as I can with them and my husband. I also enjoy reading, trying new foods, and going on long walks.
